Oftentimes the marine layer will develop over the Pacific, obscuring the view of the mountains beyond. This painting, inspired by a nearby park, became a reminder of the power of our minds. When faced with challenges and big decisions, fear and doubt will often creep into our consciousness and block our ability to see clearly the opportunities and possibilities that are within our reach. Like the dense fog obscuring the view of the mountain’s base, so too can negative thinking obscure our view of a path forward to climbing our personal mountain and realizing our dreams. Just as the marine layer is no more than a low lying cloud which we can cautiously pass through, so too can we find the way to defeat our doubt by careful planning and consistent action, however small, in moving towards the realization of our dreams.
