Im Kreise der Vertrauten Painting

The inicial of the painting was the pencil selfportrait drawn from an untipical low angle. The other surrounding conspiracy of figures appeared out of imagination without any role model. They emerged out of an interaction of moods, maybe all expressions of one single spirit in different states. They seem to discuss the hierarchies of sobriety, humor and placidness, loosing their arguments in the abstraction of moving elements. Desire and mistrust meet while impish figures surround the play. The color behaves like the bounding element that makes the coliving of the opposite states harmonic. In the movement of the lines surges a dinamic of tolerance and tension, that invites the contemplator to dive in and get lost in the small order that represents the laws of a higher order as well.
