About The Artwork
This is not a pretty picture. It is honest and raw. 20.9 Million people maybe more are victims of Human Trafficking. I didn’t want to know that number, in fact didn’t want to paint this picture. I started out painting a Barbie picture and this is what came out. Once I realized what was going on in my pysche and heart I took a moment to write my thoughts and unveiled rage in words. I carved them right into the painting. The inscribed is as follows. Secrets have names. Silence can not be bought Shame is your only covering. Confession is your only hope.
