In my twenties Painting

I am Tony Viber (real name Antanas Savickis) - independent artist, who is trying to overcome daily routine and vanity of the modern world with the help of brush and color. I was born in a small town called Siauliai (Lithuania), temporarily living in Moscow (Russia). I came to Moscow in 2012 to do research for my philosophy PhD Thesis in hermeneutics - the art and science of multiple ways of understanding reality. I have recently quit my PhD studies at MSU (Lomonosov Moscow State University), because I have felt I've got everything I need from hermeneutics for my inner growth and creativity. At first painting was something unexpected to me, it just hit me with all its strength like a bolt from the blue when I came to live in Moscow in October 2012. This creativeness inside me impels my hands to transfer meanings and shapes on the canvas. And all I have to do is just to set my mind free and let that power of inner creativity embody new "Souls". My paintings aren't plain or straight, they do not reveal you truth in the one and the only possible way. On the contrary, each viewer's original inner self will determine which images or emotions he or she will receive from one or another painting. Looking for the first time at most of my paintings, people usually see nothing more than colorful stains on the canvas. To get a really deep understanding of my paintings it takes one some time - hours, days, or even weeks and months to observe the paintings, to gain an understanding of one or another painting, to get united with IT. Thus, by interacting with my paintings little by little, the spectator (depending on his personality in his individual way) comes to see the genuine meanings, hidden in the masterpiece, that open before him as a totality of human or animal figures, emotions, actions or experiences. My recent series of paintings is called "Souls". Each "soul" has been created with a different emotion and is meant to reveal various experiences and images within people. "Souls" teaches to treat reality and seek understanding in different ways, considering different phenomenons of world surrounding us.
