Jerome L. Vaden is an international watercolor artist whose professional art career spans more than 30 years. He has participated in the Cherry Creek Arts Festival in Denver for the first five years, and was featured in a one-man 30-day art exhibit in the Town Hall of Littleton, Colorado. These are just two of the many exhibits where his unique displays are presented with the theme of the artwork. Because of his love of music, he created the original playbill It Ainït Nothin But The Blues, for the Denver Center for Performing Arts Theatre; the play was nominated for a Tony Award in 1999. Special articles have appeared in the Rocky Mountain News Spotlight section a Denver newspaper, on his shows and exhibits. Also, Jerome received an award from the nationally recognized publication, The Artist Magazine where he was chosen as a finalist. There were 15,000 entries for the portrait category. The painting chosen was his watercolor of jazz great Miles Davis. Jerome and his wife, Deloise owned and operated a fine art gallery in Aurora, Colorado and connected with the art community.
