I was born 16. december 1965 in Tallinn, and I have been living in Tartu since 1968. In 1985 I graduated Tartu art school, and have been giving exhibitions since 1968. I have been a member of the Estonian Artist's Association since 2003. I have taken part of numerous collaborative and solo art exhibititions; my last solo exhibition was up in the beginning of 2017. During the years 1994-2009 I worked at the Vanemuine theatre as a makeup artist. One of my many theatre-themed exhibitions was up in 2011 at the Nordea concert hall. I have also held many exhibitions abroad and many of my works have found their way into private collections. Since I come from a family of artists, I have also taken part of numerous family exhibitions, the biggest of which was held in 1997 at the Tartu Artist's house, where, besides my own works, also the paintings of my mother Heli Šestakova, father Jüri Šestakov and brothers Boris Šestakov and Jüri-Illimar Šestakov-Reinberg were shown. My paintings have mostly always been very colorful, though there were times where I preferred to paint in more darker tones. I have gotten inspiration from things like poetry, music, and my own garden. The paintings shown in this exhibition are a small overview of my whole work. All of the paintings are also available for purchase. Tel: 55584564
