In the shadow Painting

Not until I turned 35 I got to realize that I had always been an artist. Even though I had been painting my whole life, it never occurred to me and I had to go a thorny path to grasp this simple fact. My mother told me that I picked up the brushes even before I started talking. My passion to painting was growing day by day. I visited a fine arts workshop at kindergarten then graduated with honors from an art school. A sudden divorce of parents however took the wind out of my sails and resulted in a teenage riot, bad company, drugs and thieves` romance that hit the head. I am not proud of this period of my life; it ended in tragedy when my best friend was killed right before my eyes. We were only 18 at the time. Trying to find a way to carry on with my life I went to Pinega, a mystical energy place in Pomorie, the very North of Russia. I had been talking to no one for six months. I could not speak with words - I painted. My first works were immediately spotted and snatched for youth exhibitions. It could have been a short cut to success. But I got a family and had to put my brushes aside again to raise some money. Today I have succeeded in business; I have a happy family. Finally, I know that my life has no meaning without colors. I have always felt that I was looking at things differently; I could observe the little details that others just do not notice. I really hope that I can convey my vision of the world to you - without words, just with brush strokes.
