This is the latest portrait of a wonderful scientist and dear friend. Like most of the portraits this one is a tryout not only to depicts the resemblance of the portrayed but her inner world. It’s well known that the appearance shown through the artist's eyes reflects more of the artist’s identity rather than the model's. In spite of this fact, I think that by means of shapes and colours I have succeeded to convey the expression of tension and curiosity of her personality.
