Influencias 2 Painting

I paint without knowing exactly what will emerge. I’m not trying to assert a closed idea, but to explore through the process. For me, uncertainty is not an obstacle, but a way of being present and open to what happens while I work. I don’t start from a preconceived image. I paint in dialogue with what arises as I paint. Sometimes gesture takes the lead; other times, structure sets the pace. I work with abstraction because it allows me to search without the need to define. This abstraction may take organic or expressionist forms, or lean toward the geometric. I also use digital tools. Painting on a computer allows me to test ideas and make decisions from another angle. While the physical remains essential, the digital complements and enriches my process. Each work is a balance between control and surrender. I embrace decisions, mistakes, and repetitions as part of the path.
