Inside the mind of dementia Painting

Hello viewer, Firstly, my inspiration for this painting is all down to my mum,and 80 year ,fragile , beautiful woman with dementia,it's a awful condition,as some of you may know,to see my mum drift into to time gone by and back again in a single sentence ,to be ok one minute and confused the next,to be happy ,then sad..so this painting depicts the workings of her mind,or the mind of a dementia sufferer,with the wavey thought lines, drifting along,but going nowhere,mixed up colours twisting and turning but never mixing. This is a fairly large piece,the sides have been painted as a continuation of the main surface,I've used Windsor and Newton professional grade oils on a stretched canvas,and finished off with a Windsor and Newton gloss varnish.ive fitted stainless steel hanging wire and dust proof paper to the back, I have also fitted 2 saw tooth brackets for hanging,so you have a choice of how to hang the painting.
