Iris Red Skies Painting

Latvian artist. Born in year 1985 in Riga, Latvia’s capital city. In painting since she was 6 years old, when Maria asked her mother to take her from the ballet to the drawing class instead. Since then Maria has been doing what she truly loves. She is constantly experimenting. It is difficult to keep attention on one technique, in such an abundance of possibilities and ideas! Therefore, often several techniques are used at once in the same painting. In the process of creating, Maria forgets about everything, plunging into thoughts and giving a complete freedom to the feelings, mood and movements of the hand with a brush. She believes that the important qualities of the painting are lightness and ease. Many years of experience, skills, frequent trial and error are behind these qualities. Such creations attract the viewer’s attention with the energy and the mood that the artist translated onto the painting.
