This painting draws from the East Hampton tale of a forgotten act of love for a dying friend. Jackson Pollock, part of the past, present, and future, once painted a glassy gas ball for a local gas station owner. The story lingers like summer fog. Pollock, alien-like, kneels yet floats above the gas...

Born and raised in Missouri, The Red Bunny began her artistic journey alongside her father’s paintbrush and learned to spray-paint cars with her mother. With a Polaroid camera often hanging around her neck, she posed customers next to their new rides and added their photos to a growing Wall of Fame, honoring everyone who bought a car. Flipping through classic car magazines might be why vintage cars still show up in her paintings. A child art prodigy, she won numerous art and photography contests in elementary school, including state-level awards, and was accepted into the Junior National Art Honor Society. By age 12, she was already taking college-level art classes and later received an art scholarship to college. While modeling in cities like New York, Miami, and Milan, she co-founded a fashion line with her business partner, whose father owned Converse Europe. The line featured her original pin-up paintings as textile patterns, blending her art with high-end fashion. Her watercolors pay homage to vintage beauty and bold femininity. She has modeled for hundreds of magazines and worked with major brands like L’Oréal, ChapStick, Privé, and Dove. Her artwork has appeared in Jalouse, Galore, and LoveCat.
