ABOUT THE ARTWORK

The painting comes from the "Bezgranicze / Immensity" collection, which was inspired by the Middle East. Sun-blinding landscapes, the reflection of the hot alabaster structures in the city. Desert, heat, city, buzz and flowing emotions. The unique atmosphere, so different from the one we know, was captured by the author in the collection of over 50 works. The Immensity collection took over 2 years to present fully during the pandemic year. The exhibition under the same title was opened only for one week and was shut down due to COVID restrictions. What a coincidence when the primmer thought of the collection was "beyond borders"... Half of the collection is inspired by the city of Jerusalem and its famous spots and architecture. Please feel free to get familiar with entire collection and don't hesitate to ask any questions! This piece is made on a canvas that allows the artist to reveal the structure of the paint. Sides of the artwork are painted as a continuation of frontal view.

I'm designing a conscious creative path with strong emotions, unique aesthetics and sensitivity to colour. INSPIRATION is everywhere. CREATIVITY is my spirit. ART is my life. In 2015 I defended thesis and project in the field of interdisciplinarity of arts: "Plane description of reality used in spatial design" obtaining a title PhD in Fine Arts. I'm a MFA in Architecture & Design Faculty (2008) and MFA in Painting faculty (2012) at the University of Arts in Poznan. I also work at the same University as a lecturer at Bionics Studio. Since may 2009 I'm a member of Dymlingen artist group in Jönköping, Sweden. In my paintings I like to combine architecture and graphic. I love creating canvases in different shapes - so they fit perfectly to the subject or object I'm working with. I paint mostly in oil and acrylic. I also enjoy working with structures in painting by adding more layers of different canvases.
