ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Combining acrylic, oil and markers on wood, it is represented a resurrected Christ, with a head as part of a gold chain bleeding from the thorns and strong and elongated arms breaking the wooden cross. On a colorful and undefined background, the figure stands on one side of the composition, taking the spotlight his yellow face and breaking of the cross, which is literally lacerated. Two magenta flowers in the lower left corner are held icons in the work of this artist. The piece was made in conjunction with the Miami Christian artist John Florez.
