Joyful Journeys Painting

Grace Pinotti is an abstract oil painter based in Dallas, TX. Grace has lived in different continents and cultures around the world with her husband while raising their children. Her journey started in an eclectic Buenos Aires and an inspiring Montevideo. Later, she experienced the breathtaking Swiss Alps, the beaches in Florida, the ancient valleys in Lebanon, the beautiful and magnificent Italy and the monumental Panama Canal Locks. Her work is inspired by remembered places and powerful life experiences from her time living abroad in different cultures and countries around the world. Her paintings are an abstract representation of her feelings and experiences throughout this journey as each of the places she lived in added a new layer to her personality and created the need for constant movement. Grace works with different layers of oil paint applied to the canvas with a palette knife and brush that add texture and create a sense of movement. Circles and ovals represent energy, her spiritual force that keeps her evolving, facing new challenges, and having the chance to grow, learn and transform. Lines represent the willingness to connect with the unknown, a new beginning, a new place and culture to be discovered, the urge to explore a completely different environment, discover new realities, and connect with other parts of the world and their people.
