Northern Ireland Troubles and the Vermeer painting 'The Love Letter' painting, stolen from the Beit Collection by the IRA. It was ironic that such a tranquil picture should be at the centre of the conflict and its many victims on both sides. What is the servant girl looking at? The deep red velvet tablecloth becomes the spilt blood.

United Kingdom
I decided to become an artist at the age of four and went to Liverpool School of Art (in the same class as John Lennon.) My first paintings were sold via Hampstead Artists' Council yearly show. Since then I have exhibited in solo and group shows in London, Norwich, Dublin, Galway and now in Suffolk. I also write poetry, short stories and novels, and have won several prizes. My latest book, Maryland Street is in Amazon in print and Kindle format.
