Ritch Gaiti is nationally recognized for his moving oil paintings capturing the spirit, drive and emotion of horses. He paints in oils, often using a warm palette and texture to add another dimension and give the effect of the passage of time. Gaiti says: “Somewhere deep inside the image of the horse, lies the essence of the horse; that is what I’m after.” He is rapidly building a strong following with collectors through exhibitions in many museums and galleries. His work has been featured on the cover of Horses in Art magazine, as well as Elite Equestrian magazine, Sidelines, a national horse magazine, Southwest Art, and Art of the West magazines. He has exhibited in corporate venues as well as museums across the country, including: The International Museum of the Horse, The American Quarter Horse Museum, The International Museum of Art, El Paso, The Gilcrease Museum, and The Great Plains Art Museum. Gaiti says: “Horses embody beauty, grace, strength, but, most of all, freedom. Nothing compares to the exciting energy of horses running free on the open range. I paint their raw and gentle vitality in their natural environs — a pasture, an open range, climbing a hill or crossing water. There are no fences to constrain them, just the natural obstacles of nature.” He is currently exhibiting his works in galleries in Jackson Hole, Fort Collins, Gatlinburg, New Hope, Delray Beach and Alpharetta (Georgia). His entire portfolio may be viewed on . Ritch is also an aspiring writer, having written several novels. He also enjoys tennis, skiing and is a private pilot. Ritch Gaiti 609 466-5888
