ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Kalashnikov instead of lollipops In many places around the world, children are forced to fight and kill in war. I would like to draw attention to this. According to Unicef, tens of thousands of boys and girls are abused as child soldiers in civil wars or conflicts. These children without a childhood are witnesses to violence, commit acts of violence themselves, but are themselves victims. I can show the little boy's face here without having to protect him, as he has never lived. The photo template for this picture was provided by AI. I digitally altered this photo template and painted it by hand with a brush on black canvas. The picture is ready to hang.

Sabine Rudolph is a German artist who lives in southern Germany and whose art is appreciated by collectors worldwide. My paintings hang in private collections for example in in  Athen (Griechenland); Ballarat (Australien); Budapest (Ungarn); Dubai, (Vereinigte Arabische Emirate); Frankfurt am Main, Stuttgart (Deutschland); Lissabon, (Portugal); London (Großbritannien); Pianoro Bologna, Rom (Italien); Neufeld, Wien (Österreich);  Zofingen (Schweiz);  Nashua New Hampshire, Aurora IL, Denver CO, Los Angeles California, Sheffield Lake, Ohio; Bothell, Washington; New York; Sugar Land, Texas; Duluth, Minnesota (USA) I have been a painter with a focus on portraiture for many years. Since 2021 I am also engaged in digital art. This art direction is subject to the same compositional principles as in my painting. The special thing about my painting is the approach. I make photographic templates of people who are close to me or with whom I have been able to build a special relationship. In this way especially deep emotions are expressed. I use these photo templates and paint them as a second step. A further characteristic of my work is the light. On black canvases I paint only the light. The shadow is the black canvas that remains free. The reduction to the light makes the special attraction.
