ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Oil Painting On Canvas on Paperboard 2014 The painting features a historical red brick building with a prominent stone staircase leading to an entrance. The architecture reflects a traditional Russian style, with steep roofs and decorative chimneys. The sunlight casts warm tones on the building's façade, highlighting its details. In the foreground, a person is seen standing near the staircase, possibly a visitor or local, enjoying the tranquil atmosphere. To the left, a lush tree with drooping branches adds depth and contrast to the scene, while the background consists of more greenery and a clear blue sky with soft, wispy clouds. The overall mood of the painting is peaceful and nostalgic, evoking a sense of quiet reflection in this historical setting.
