About The Artwork

"A desire to escape... Let yourself be carried away by this colorful little aviator who reminded me of Antoine de St Exupéry." Lucie Lith A graffiti background was first created using mixed acrylic spray paint and a paint pen. You can see it, for information, in photo n°6. Then stencil frames allowed the insertion of the little boy. The letters make up the character, as in all of Lucie Lith's paintings. The work is signed on the back. The edges are painted and a clip is provided, which does not make framing essential and allows immediate wall hanging.

Lucie Lith is a self-taught French stencil artist who draws inspiration from pop art and urban art. Prior to dedicating herself to painting in 2015, Lucie Lith worked in marketing and management. She initially honed her creative skills through poetry and novel writing, before discovering the art of collage in 2008. Since 2016, she has explored urban art techniques and created her own stencils that blend text and painting. The marriage of words and paint is the essence of her work. Her characters are composed of an amalgam of words that accumulate to excess, and the letters often fly off into the background. Lucie Lith's mixed-media paintings feature layers of stencils, paint, and text that invite viewers to reflect on their own stories and values. Her works offer a counterpoint to today's culture of ephemera, emphasizing the importance of memory and storytelling, and reflection.
