Davide Querin – Painter and Illustrator Original oil paintings available for commission My work explores interior, distant, and dreamlike worlds—spaces that cannot be described literally, but emerge through perception, memory, and imagination. I am interested in how lived experience, relationships, thoughts, emotions, and dreams come together as fragments of an ever-changing inner landscape. Through my paintings, I open access to these invisible spaces, inviting the viewer into a suspended dimension where memory, emotion, and imagination resurface. Each work becomes an open space for contemplation, where personal stories, places, and times can quietly emerge. Nothing in my paintings is strictly realistic. Figures and environments are not representations of the visible world, but metaphysical and dreamlike constructions, where interior and exterior, conscious and unconscious, real and symbolic dissolve into one another. Technique I work primarily with oil painting using traditional glazing techniques, building layers of transparency, light, and depth. This process allows images to slowly emerge and disappear, like thoughts and memories. The result is work meant not only to be seen, but experienced inwardly—creating a personal, emotional space for each viewer. At Palazzo Trinci Museum in Foligno, I presented DOMINO, a 3 × 3 meter polyptych composed of 16 oil paintings on canvas (75 × 75 cm each), as part of a solo exhibition project.
