Jorge Juan García Alonso was born in Madrid in 1966. From the school stage, he stands out in artistic expression and drawing, winning numerous awards during his student life, culminating in obtaining the first prize of the San Pablo CEU University painting contest in 1985 while he was studying Business Studies. During the time of the university he began working as a trader of financial markets, until in the year 1996 he decided to devote himself to the creation of innovative companies, which has represented his main activity until the year 2008 when he decides to cross the Atlantic Ocean in a ship of candle trying to find the dimension of the human being within nature. When you return from the trip of more than 10,000 miles you turn to artistic creation. Over the years he has combined his entrepreneurial face with the artistic accumulating a work that has not left the circle of friends and family close to the artist until the exhibition of the Madrid city hall in May 2010. The work delves around the existence itself human About life and death, love and human relationships. And above all it is a critical look at the cultural moment we are living with the consumer society, which has become the model to be followed by all humanity, something that in itself invalidates the model as unsustainable, creating the obligation to generate the beginning of the century XXI of seeking alternatives to society before suffering a collapse. The work tries to open hatches on the frontier of reality from a critical posture that allows observing alternatives that can influence the imagination of collective thinking eager for evolution. Try to pierce the bubble that surrounds us, created by today's society around its own needs, many induced and created by the advertising system of planetary promotion. The technique used is mainly oil painting on canvases and other materials, such as presentations of real advertising campaigns made in pen cardboard for the launch of companies founded in recent years by the author. There are also frequent elements in the works that have been part of his daily life, such as hardware boards, consumer products, publications in the media, or his own clothes.
