ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The key composition of my paintings "Les Entrailles Spirituelles des Machines” (“The Spiritual Bowels of Machines") is always a mechanical structure of a real, existing machine. This is for example the section of: an engine, a gear machine, a turbine... after moving the "soul" of the mechanical system on paper, I begin to perceive its dreams, thoughts, while enclosing or rather unrolling in space of geometric patterns.

I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, Poland, in 2008. Since 2009 I’ve been living in Brussels and I dedicate myself to painting. I admire the geometrical madness of Victor Vasarely as much as a sweet poetry of John Everret Millais’ paintings and also the importance of detail and light in the works of Louis Comfort Tiffany. I am fascinated and inspired by the mechanical world, world of movement, rotation, vibration, overlap and superimposition of elements where the presence of each piece is essential for the entire system to function correctly.
