ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Part of on a ongoing series exploring people's relationship to our ever shifting environment - in this case represented but weather systems. I've spent three years documenting skylines and hope to represent our immediate and often passive relationship to each other by creating fictional paintings, amalgamated from different vantage points and the experience of living in amongst mostly urban settings. These works could however, be anywhere - inviting people to conjure a memory or a vision of the future.

The duality here, and belief, is that no one individual is not affected by, and equally separated from affecting their environment – and the objects & people within. The core, painting element of my work looks at the idea of ‘Procession’, blending imaginary and real worlds to create possibilities of other dimensions, thought, and opportunitIes often within meteorological and natural cycles.
