Liberation Painting

There have been many difficult moments in my life.  A spinal fracture, complex surgeries, long rehabilitation, divorce, depression with suicidal thoughts - every time I felt overwhelmed.  But then came cleansing, liberation from unnecessary habits and an ossified worldview, the outlook on many things changed.  And in general, all the difficulties made me better, kinder, filled me with love for people and life, taught me to understand and accept my neighbor, and most importantly - to understand and accept myself.  I decided for myself that difficulties are not punishment, but an opportunity to find something new, see everything differently and reach a new level of outlook.  I wanted to reflect this state of transformation in painting, and I hope I succeeded.
