ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Original oil painting "Linden Alley. Winter" Signature: hand-signed by artist Certificate of authenticity: Included The Katvari Manor was built in the middle of the 18th century on the shores of the lake of the same name in Vidzeme. It is recognized as an architectural monument of national importance. Between 1920 and 2008, the building housed the Katwari Primary School. The linden alley with a labyrinth in the park behind the estate attracts the greatest attention of tourists, photographers and artists. This place is beautiful at any time of the year and looks like a fairy forest. The alley, about 400 years old, reaches five meters in width and up to 40 meters in length. Note: The picture colour might be slightly different from real colour, so you can ask about more images. This lovely painting will make a great gift for someone special, or nice addition to your home decor. Thank you for visiting =) NOTE FOR BUYERS: I send the painting not stretched, due to the size of the painting, but the stretcher is included in the delivery. If you have any questions about this painting or delivery, please contact me, I'll do my best.

Svetlana Kiisky, an award-winning Latvian painter, has exhibited her works in Russia, Italy, Latvia, Canada and other countries. She finds inspiration in random moments and her works are based on familiar and insignificant events that occur in everyday life. Svetlana considers association and communication to be the purpose of her art. Her artistic style is closely linked to the spirit of expressionism and is translated through oils. "The simpler the plot, the truer the picture. I am interested in the beauty of a person, both spiritual and inner. Each person has a certain kind of artistry." Svetlana is a Latvian painter, working and living in Riga. She studied in Latvian Academy of Arts. Focus on figure painting.
