ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A trip to the north shore of Lake Superior inspired this piece. I have done a few different ones from this remote cove that seems to fascinate me. I think because this piece of land is inaccessible or very hard to get to. I saw it from a remote hiking trail close to the coastland. It makes me think of going back in time when things were not so busy. I wanted the colours to be non representational and have pink poking through from the underwash. Pink is a happy colour for me that reminds me of my childhood. Comes ready to hang on gallery thick canvas.
