Nature is an inexhaustible source of knowledge, a fascinating territory that contains both a spiritual sense, and immense wisdom. My botanical studies are inspired by my sensibility to plants colors and morphology. In a deeper sense, those studies explore the sensation that plants rely to me, the character that defines and differentiates them, even among the same species. This particular work is a botanical portrait where I explore, in a sensitive way, the particularities of a plant. From the use of materials of natural origin such as cotton paper and the use of water pigments, I develop a work that captures the movement, gesture and character of the plant. In this piece I use both watercolor and collage techniques. Watercolor on 300gr hot pressed watercolor paper. The artwork is sealed and handmade signed. The artwork is not sold framed.
