Long shadows on the farm, Uxbridge Painting

Looking at fields is incredibly relaxing, especially farmland. In this painting the feeling of growth and productivity is cascaded over with long shadows, signaling the end of the day. The hay bales, which are the focal point, are the result of the farmer's labour which is now complete. I hope this painting makes you feel a sense of wholeness and rest. I used oil paints with added linseed oil on Canson canvas paper. The painting is framed, but can be removed easily for your own custom framing. The painting would look best in a room with warm colours, as it is primarily yellows and browns. The painting framed is 22 × 18 inches, the image itself is 14 x 11 inches.
