'Love to Orlando 2016' - Was inspired by the Orlando shooting of 2016 and the innocent lives, dreams & aspirations that were lost in this hate-crime massacre. I hope this work will bring about more thoughts and actions to the issue and help in preserving the depth & graveness of world issues in pure original art of the time, almost like a fossil. Watercolor is light, transparent and helps keep the work simple and comfortable for viewing at any time of the day or setting. The subject was chosen as I allow most life issues domestic or international to affect me deeply and influence my brush. I want my works to hold meaning and connection to the age and times we live in. The style borders abstract expressionism & fauvism and has been my most expressive, liberating style as ideas & emotions in this style flow freely without restrictions and rules of art, very much mirroring my heart and soul, the artist & wanderer.
