Maïa #3 Painting

WAG is a Paris-based artist, having painted since the 1960s. His recent works come after several years as a successful banker and bank trainer. Born in South Carolina (USA) but a native of Philadelphia, he attended LaSalle University and the University of Fribourg (Switzerland). His banking career started in Philadelphia as did his early works of art. He took art lessons briefly in the evenings at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. He moved to Paris in 1972 continuing his banking career and painting in his spare time. He received an MBA in 1981 from Yale University's School of Management and later the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. His artistic endeavors were not neglected as he took lessons under French artist Francis Harburger. His recent works reflect a contemporary style he developed in the 1970s. WAG are the initials of his full name, Waymond Anthony Grier.
