ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This was painted in the Pisgah National Forest during my residency in Hot Springs, North Carolina. The entire process took three hours and it captures golden light coming through the trees. When viewing this piece, one is transported back to the woods where light, foliage, and shadow all combine to create their own magical world.
