About The Artwork
Since 1999 I started to decorate and sell furniture in Italy with ancient pages of books or vintage newspapers, then I combined the ancient technique of cutting paper with painting and drawing, emulating paper figures with ink, this painting makes part of the first dozen works that I created with this technique. This painting, created in 2012, is painted on original pages of vintage books, assembled on primed vintage canvas stretched on a handmade frame, ink on original pages of vintage books. Signed, certificate of authenticity, MIBAC certificate. Painting can be hanged to the wall without additional frame.

The works range from the female subject to the figures of children, human faces and bodies, various styles and techniques are applied to the works, the materials I use are almost all natural, I love making colors and primers myself using glues, gessi and pigments.
