Inspired by the unseen side of Marilyn Monroe - her intelligence and vulnerability - to create a series of paintings based on images of this iconic and talented actress. Images that are not mature (in other words, rarely seen) in the media. The artist wanted to honor Marilyn with a serious tribute to her beauty on the inside as well as the side she rarely showed in public. This original artwork, Marilyn at the Bath is painted with high-quality oil on stretched gallery canvas - it is unframed and edges are painted in order to hang without a frame, gallery style. Only the finest archival materials have been used: professional artist canvas and Gamblin Oil paints. The artist spent many hours creating the painting and welcomes the viewer to enjoy the composition.
