Marketplace in the Arab Quarter Painting

A tranquil painting of the Arab Marketplace in the old city of Jerusalem. Since a young age, I walked these streets with my parents or grandparents, on the way to the Western Wall.. I've always felt a connection to the ancient and stunning architecture and all its symbols – the gates, arches, markets, and ancient stones. Dozens of shops offer their goods to passersby, trying to attract tourists. Donkeys carry massive loads on their backs, and their owners urge them on with a stick. Jews walk alongside Arabs and tourists, densely packed, hurrying on their way. The scene you see in the picture was captured by me with my own camera! And when I painted the picture (composing it from several photos), I felt like I was truly there!! The result is indeed completely authentic.
