Marsaxlokk (Malta) Painting

Marsaxlokk is a fishing village in the south of Malta with its traditional fishing boats «luzzu». In this work, I sought to capture the vibrant and colorful essence of maritime life. Inspired by fauvism, I used bold and expressive colors to depict the scene in an evocative way, while adding my figurative and naive touch. The soft impressions of light reflect the warmth of the place, creating an open invitation to escape. It is a celebration of the maritime energy that will animate your interior with a breath of fresh air and joy.
