ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Inspired by my plain air painting activity in the McKenzie River area near Eugene, Oregon. I especially like this area because of its ruggedness, its mighty forests and grand vistas from on high. This work shows evidence of clear cutting and the harvest of timber but also the beauty and majesty of the terrain, the "wild west" aspect of an area for fishing, hunting, and hiking as well as plain air painting.
