ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting is inspired by an image I saw entering the Medina of Tunis through 'Porte de France' during my visit in 2014. The whole culture of Tunisia is full with sounds, colors, forms from Andalusia, with its tenderness, emotional strength, profound meaning. The tile patters can be seen everywhere on walls, in houses, in bathrooms, in cafés... Many of my works are strongly influenced by their curving and twisting forms.

My name is Radostina. In my mother tongue "Radost" means 'Joy' and 'istina means "truth". For many years I used to introduce myself by "Tina", making it easy for the people.
