The themes I choose to address usually go around the concept of personal living space. I exploit images or fragments of collective and/or individual memory which do not refer to particular objects or situations. My works are usually modular and have multiple ways of assembly and interpretation. Both in individual and in collective creative works, one can often find composition schemes which occur fully by chance or chaotically. How we distribute most everyday items in our private space is usually based on personal instinct. One can notice that by looking at the way a mountain village is built: houses are placed not according to urban principles, but rather to instinct and personal understanding of space. In the same way, we can observe that traditional households are being shaped and run "žautomatically", that is based on immediate necessities. The visual placement of objects in a house is generally in a row, in a sort of ennumeration, classified by a strictly personal logic of the owner. In the front house (the building facing the street), the place where the most precious belongings in the house are kept, one will discover an archive of items made in different periods and for different purposes, all gathered in a sort of self-presenting collection.
