ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Minneapolis glows at night along the river. This view is from the St. Anthony Main part of town, an historic main street that grew up on the opposite side of the river. This painting was inspired by a calm, inky night in summer when the city was doubled in the slow flowing Mississippi waters and a dramatic sky lit by both a moon and the buildings themselves.
