Born June 24, 1956 in Moscow. Began to draw in kindergarten. Due to injury I could not study at primary art school. But I didn’t go along the art line, I went to the aviation. In 1979, I graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute and received a diploma of a design engineer. In 1984, I entered the full-time department of the graphic art faculty of the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute. It was in this year that a significant meeting took place with my Teacher in life and art - Boris Smirnov-Rusetskiy. His work and worldview had a huge impact on me! At the institute I completed a full course of study and received a diploma with the highest mark. There were many trips to the open air in various regions of our country - Karelia, the North Caucasus, the middle lane of Russia and Altai. In the late 80's, I already had a fairly significant amount of my own pastel work, took part in Opening Days and exhibitions. I graduated from the institute in 1989. In 1990, I was admitted to the Moscow City Committee of graphic artists at 28 Malaya Gruzinskaya Street, and this marked the entry into the world of professional painting. I began to participate in group exhibitions and my work aroused the interest of the audience, began to be sold. In April 1991, in Moscow, the landmark exhibition "Artists of Malaya Gruzinskaya 28, in the Manege" was held, where among the many works of 100 artists, there were exhibits and several of my landscapes using pastel technique. In the same period, I took part in several group exhibitions, the inspiration of which was Boris Smirnov-Rusetskiy. Gradually, I got fans and regular customers. At the same time, I joined the International Union of Artists and Graphics, in the painting section. In 1991-92 my personal exhibitions in Bulgaria took place. A significant period of my work was devoted to computer graphic design in my own studio Rolland. Many years have passed since then, filled with various hobbies, problems, trips, etc. I returned to painting recently, in 2016. Again, I was drawn to pick up a brush and crayons of pastels. He restored several of his old works and in the spring of 2017 made one new one - “Venice. Grand Canal. " In 2018, while in Krasnoyarsk, he painted in oil a large polyptych “Non-Evening Light” (five paintings on a common plot). He joined the Creative Union of Artists of Russia and the National Union of Pastelists of Russia.
