ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Plein air painting made by moonlight. There was some background light so I was able to see my paints well enough to know what colors I was using by knowing the size shape and weight of the different colors. It was about midnight. Some neighbors were out working on their garden, maybe hoping to get the work done before the storm. The substrate is oil primed linen with a smooth finish.
