ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Kuindzhi is my favorite artist. I started working on this copy because I really wanted to touch the work of the master. "Moonlit Night on the Dnieper" is a landscape by the Russian artist Arkhip Kuindzhi (1842-1910), painted in 1880. It is kept in the State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg. The painting depicts a wide river-the Dnieper-on a moonlit summer night. The greenish ribbon of the river, in which the moonlight is reflected, crosses the plain, which at the horizon merges with the dark sky covered with rows of light clouds. This canvas is considered the most famous work of Kuindzhi and is considered the greatest creative achievement of the artist.

Fomkin, V. N. Zabelin. In 2003 wos admitted to the union of artist of Russia. Participant of exhibitions in Russia in abroad. Works in the genre painting of portrait, landscaip. Lives and works in Moscow. Participant of city, regional and international exhibitions. His works are in private collections in Russia and abroad. In my works, only high-quality oil paints and Italian linen canvases are used. After the painting is finished, it is covered with an artistic varnish to protect it from dust and direct sunlight.
