Moraine is a semi-abstract landscape painted in oil and spatula. It is part of the Champ de Glace series. This series illustrates the artist's perception of the breathtaking views offered by the glacier route located in western Canada. Nicole illustrates the beauty of glacial geology and the variations of turquoise blue offered by these magnificent landscapes. The painting is also voluntarily separated into geometric shapes. The sky is dark purple dotted with white clouds and naple yellow. The colors intertwine. Lined with ice and moraine to the right of the painting (mass of rocky debris - eroded and transported by glaciers), the artist illustrates the river using several shades of turquoise with tints of purple. Born in 1963 in Trois-Rivières in the province of Quebec Canada, Nicole Caron is an emerging and self-taught painter. Her representation of light, Quebec landscapes and flowers is a source of inspiration. From a very young age, she did not hesitate to ask her mother who painted for pleasure "Please, you want to paint a pot of flowers?
