ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is my version of George Inness' Catskill Valley (The Red Oaks)I hope the viewer will celebrate the Fall season, feel the cool,crisp air, and feel a sense of peace and tranquility. I have painted this subject before using brushes, but this time, I experimented with painting knives. Painting with knives is very satisfying for me because I love the chunky texture they provide. This painting is wired and ready to hang. The sides have been painted so a frame is not necessary. A protective seal of varnish has been applied, and it is signed and dated.
