My High School Soundtrack Artwork

There are two primary styles in my work. One comes from breaking apart logos and icons from pop culture and incorporating them into my abstract paintings; this began as a rebellion against all the years of feeling constrained in the corporate design world – but has since become my technique that I use to invoke a unique nostalgia in my pieces. The other evolved as a homage to the logos and icons that are so ingrained in society that we can recognize them without any context. This collection is a testament to the power that marketing and advertising have had on our lives. Known as Speaker Jill across social media; I have had my artwork exhibited in Downtown Dallas, New York, Liverpool, Lisbon, Bali, and Beijing. My art is held in private collections in Canada, the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia.
