Vladimir Savchuk is an independent artist, lives and works in St. Petersburg. Vladimir plays with color, his work is based on geometric abstraction close to pop art, and casts doubt on the clear contrast between the tradition of form and minimalist lines in its abstract figurative form. Vladimir creates an extraordinary composition in each of his works. A simple black contour line runs through his classic paintings or more graphic works of art as the “thread of life”. He is interested in topics such as intimacy, as the secret of the picture, studies the transcendence of people and is associated with all his works. The works are distinguished primarily by their complex simplicity. They tell stories, sometimes with humor or sarcasm, but always try to stimulate the viewer, explore their own introspection.
