New sheriff in town is a realistic oil painting inspired by the world famous photographer Helmut Newton and his prolific artworks. Helmut Newton has been a unique contributor to the world famous magazines such as Vogue, Playboy, Harpers Bazaar and many more. He was one of very few photographers who were hand picked by celebrity models to get their pictures taken. Newton established a particular style marked by erotic, stylised scenes, often with sado-masochistic and fetishistic subtexts. This painting is a tribute to his work and is also inspired by current world events - especially the war in Ukraine which helped to decide which colours the artwork would end up with. Bright hues of yellow and dark ly saturated indigo blue, gives this unique erotic painting a sensual and mystique visual. Painted on a high quality cotton canvas, this artwork is going to be a perfect addition to serious art collector collection.

I am Czech artist based in Prague. I focus on oil painting but also delve into sculpture. I specialize in monochrome miniatures but you can see that I do canvases in Art Deco style and modernistic geometrical compositions. You can check out my work at my website or my facebook. I am also a curator of Czech modern art and I try to promote other Bohemian artists at my annual "Wail of Silence" exhibition.
