ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I wanted to capture the solitary feel of moonlight, neon falling on a pillar and the city, I like the nocturnal light play on urban surfaces of concrete and steel. Oil paint is more luminous than other paints although takes more time to dry, also one can manipulate the paint in various ways before it dries. I tried to capture the still long shots of movies. Many influences, a bit of David Hockney, Edward Hopper
