"Nightjar" oil painting, 15x15 cm Painting

Hello! My name is Galina, I am from Russia and I am 35 years old. I am a self-taught artist and have been painting for as long as I can remember. As you can see, my paintings are different from the works of most classical artists. You will not find standard plots, landscapes or still lifes with me. I only transfer to the canvas what I consider to be really beautiful (and my vision sometimes differs from the public one). It can be a glint of light from a New Year's lantern on a snow-covered tree branch, or a reflection of a candle on a mysterious skull lying on a book. A separate source of inspiration for me is computer games and fantasy universes. The location of Ardenveld from the game World of Warcraft impressed me so much with its cozy, intimate space that I captured it on canvas. Also, I consider the Warhammer 40,000 incredibly beautiful and inspired, and at this time I am drawing a series of paintings on it.
